Ain’t much polish here — just a name burned deep, a bottle half gone, boots that earned their wear, and a way of life you don’t fake. “Yep, I’s Born Like That” drops late April. You’ll feel it when it hits.

When I first read the lyrics to “Yep, I’s Born Like That,” I didn’t even make it past the first verse before I said, “Yeah… that’s me.”

My friend MJ wrote the words, and somehow nailed the way I walk through this world without ever needing to ask me how I tick. That’s rare. And I appreciate the hell outta that kind of accuracy.

This song ain’t about acting tough or makin’ a statement. It’s just the truth.I never learned how to play it safe. I never tried to clean up too much. I was raised to move forward without waitin’ on permission — and if you’ve ever felt that way too, this one’s for you.

That hook line —“I don’t try to stand out — yep, I’s born like that.”— it ain’t just a clever turn of phrase. It’s how I’ve always been.

We kept the track raw and loud, full of energy, but we didn’t dress it up. Because I’m not dressed up. I’m just real — boots worn in, hat pulled low, voice a little cracked from late nights and louder days.

Every verse, every chorus, it all lines up with how I live — with both feet in, no filter, and nothing to prove.

So yeah, if you’re the kind who doesn’t fit the mold, who’d rather stand crooked than sit quiet, you’ll feel right at home here.

This song ain’t a show. It’s a mirror. And yep… I’s born like that.

And hey — it’s comin’ out real soon. Late April. Keep your ears open. Sign up to my mail list and you’ll hear my release announcement loud and clear.

Thanks for ridin’ with me,

Tucker
