Finding Inspiration in Every Row of Corn
You’re probably wonderin’ who this Tucker Gentry fella is. Truth is, I’m just a small-town guy who’s spent more time with dirt under my boots than just about anything else. Grew up right here in Texas, where the sunsets are long and the days are honest.
When I’m not out workin’ the land, you’ll catch me with my guitar, pluckin’ out tunes that feel like home. Nothing too fancy—just honest songs about life out here. Music should be as real as the folks listenin’ to it, and that’s what I aim for every time. My debut track, "Don't Get America Wrong," is my way of speakin’ up for the country I love, and you can stream it on all the major platforms. And now, my new single "What’s Freedom Worth" is available too—it's a song that dives deep into what freedom means in these uncertain times. If you’ve got a minute, give ‘em both a listen.

Well, if you’re wonderin’ where I come from, it’s pretty simple. Born and raised on a Texas farm, same as my Daddy and his Daddy before him, where hard work wasn’t just somethin’ we did, it was a way of life. I grew up surrounded by long days, open skies, and the kinda quiet that lets you hear your own thoughts. That’s where my music comes from, it’s real, it’s raw, and it’s about the little things that stick with ya.
Most days, you’ll find me out there strummin’ my guitar, whether I’m in the barn or just sittin’ under the stars. I don’t need a fancy studio to make music—just my guitar, some open sky, and the stories life’s handed me. My first track, “Don’t Get America Wrong,” comes straight from that same place, filled with grit, pride, and the downhome Texas spirit I bring to everything I do. It’s still available for streaming and download, so give it a listen if you haven’t already.
Now, my new single “What’s Freedom Worth” is available for download right here on the website. This song digs deep into what’s at stake for our freedom, and it’s one I’m proud to share with y’all. I grew up on a dusty ol’ farm in the heart of Texas, where I found peace in the strings of my guitar. Out there, with wide-open fields and endless skies, I worked on my music just like we worked the land. The rhythm of early morning chores, long days, and the farm's natural sounds are woven into the music I make. My upbringing was built on hard work, family values, and homemade tunes—just like the country ballads I’m sharing today.
